  Laurence Hart is a 15 year veteran of the New York/New Jersey rock scene. Starting in the late 80's as Lead Guitarist/Backing Vocalist for Mike Dalton & The Push, a staple band throughout Jersey shore circuit. After leaving the Push, Laurence began recording and playing as a solo artist in the singer/songwriter tradition while at the same time collaborating with his brother Bob Hart in the band, Casaluna. The self-titled debut album gained a sizable fan base and songs like “What is it to You” and “Alone” earned radio plays. In 1997 Laurence pursued other non musical interests. That didn’t last long and Laurence began doing shows in NYC and NJ with Mike Flynn on a regular basis. The duo performed blues-based acoustic music mixed with a DeadHead funk. Now, after an 8 year recording layoff, Laurence is set to release a new album 'Fragments' that celebrates and expands the boundaries of Rock'n'Roll ' Fragments' is a subtle mix of many different styles from all corners of the rock music world. Sifting through 25 years of lyrics, musical fragments, and completed works, he chose the ones that had stuck with him through the years and made a bold decision NOT to finish them. Sandwiched between full pieces, these fragments add an element to the album that makes it sound different then any music coming out today. The recordings are synthesized, internalized and industrialized to create a unique sound that defies a single label and tears down the staid world of musical caterogires.
