  Julia's Window was set up in 2005 by Leksa (vocals/guitar), Kimmo (guitar), Jaaku (bass) and Tuomo (drums/machines). Taking the advantage of playing together in other projects in the past JW quickly formed into a promising alternative rock band creating worldwide interest with their combination of rocking riffs, mellow emotions and computer-created elements. The band's hard work, great sound and energetic live shows clearly reflects their strong determination to succeed.
  
  Debut EP Sleeper was released in May 2005 for promotional purposes. It received good reviews, won demo-contests and attained plenty of visibility in various music websites, netradios and podcasts. It also allowed the band to play their first shows. In July the same year they released a digi-single Blacklight in order to give a more accurate idea what the band is really about. The single spread around nicely, got spotlighted in various websites and finally ended up in the US on "Quadfather" motorsport DVD and "Artists Answering the Call Vol 2" - a benefit for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
  
  The band hopes their second EP Word of Mouth and the music video released in February 2006 will convince the rest of the sceptics and allow the band's evolution to speed up even more. What will happen then, remains to be seen.
